Privacy Policy

Pixel Directive, LLC (“the Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of players across our entire portfolio of mobile games and services (collectively, the “Services”). This policy describes our data practices in compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

1. Notice at Collection

At or before the point of collection, we notify you that we collect the following categories of personal information for the business purposes of operating our games and serving advertisements:

  • Identifiers: Such as your Apple IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) and Apple Game Center ID.
  • Commercial Information: Records of in-app purchases (transaction receipts).
  • Internet/Electronic Network Activity: Interaction with advertisements and app performance/crash logs.

2. How We Share and “Sell” Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, under California law, sharing identifiers with third-party advertising partners (such as Google AdMob) to show personalized ads is considered “sharing” for cross-contextual behavioral advertising.

Third Parties we share data with:

  • Advertising Partners: For serving and measuring ads.
  • Platform Providers: Such as Apple, for processing payments (IAP) and social gaming features (Game Center).

3. Your Right to Opt-Out (Do Not Sell or Share)

You have the right to direct us not to “sell” or “share” your personal information. We provide two symmetrical methods for you to exercise this right:

  1. In-Game Settings: All Pixel Directive games that feature personalized advertising will include a “Privacy Choices” or “Do Not Sell/Share” menu within the game’s settings.
  2. Email Request: You may email your request to privacy@pixeldirective.com. Please include the name of the game(s) you play and your Game Center nickname.

4. Right to Delete and Right to Know

You have the right to request that we delete your personal information or provide a report of what data we have collected.

  • To submit a request: Email privacy@pixeldirective.com.
  • Verification: We will verify your request by matching your provided Game Center ID or other service-specific identifiers with our records.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including:

  • Financial Records: Purchase data is retained for 7 years to meet tax and audit requirements.
  • Gaming Data: Retained as long as your account or game profile is active.
  • Ad Data: Generally rotated or deleted by our partners within 26 months.

6. Children

Our games are intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect or share personal information from children under 16 without appropriate consent or as permitted by law.
